Ocular Coherence Tomography or OCT
Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an advanced eye health check for people of all ages. Similar to ultrasound, OCT uses light rather than sound waves to illustrate the different layers that make up the front and back of your eye. A digital photograph and three dimensional cross sectional scan of the back of your eyes helps explain any unusual conditions found. The scan is non-invasive, painless, simple and quick. The images are stored on our computers - so we can monitor changes to the condition of your retina with every eye examination you have. Please see the video for more detail.
